UNION PARISH (June 27, 2025) – State Fire Marshal (SFM) deputies arrested a Ruston man on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, for setting fire to an occupied home. Jason Perdue, 40, has been charged with one count each of Attempted Second Degree Murder and Aggravated Arson.
